Leon Mooneyhan, of Shelby County, has been selected to be a member of the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence. Mooneyhan is the Chief Executive Officer of the Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative.

The Prichard Committee is an independent, nonpartisan, citizen-led organization working to improve education in Kentucky – early childhood through postsecondary – so that we will achieve a better quality of life for all residents.

“Prichard Committee members believe public education is critical to the economic and social well-being of Kentucky,” said Brigitte Blom Ramsey, President & CEO. “Leon will work to inspire other Kentuckians to act on improving education outcomes at all levels and will be an asset to the committee.”
