- All 40 KCSI schools are deeply involved in the action plan development process with community members, family members, district/school staff, and state coaches.
- All action plans are due by May 30th with implementation beginning July 1.
- All 20 KCSI districts will attend the National Community Schools and Family Engagement Conference in Atlanta, Georgia, May 29-31, as well as the Prichard Committee’s Groundswell Summit and Annual Meeting in Owensboro, Kentucky, June 10-12.
- Ongoing learning exchanges occur regularly with state coaches, district directors, FRYSC coordinators, principals, and Prichard Committee/Groundswell members to build capacity and clarity around the initiative.
- KDE and FRYSC KCSI Managers regularly share KCSI learnings and connect resources and tools across multiple departments including Crisis Coordinators from the Department for Behavioral Health; Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities; Title I Community of Practitioners; and the Family Partnership Council.
