Donavan Pinner and Daniel Kemp, both of Hopkinsville, have been selected to be members of the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence. Pinner serves as Associate Minister at Virginia Street Baptist Church in Hopkinsville. He is also a Special Education teacher at his former middle school. Kemp is a Hopkinsville attorney and a U.S. Army veteran. He is also a former Mayor of Hopkinsville and former Chair of the Murray State Board of Regents.<\/p>\n
The Prichard Committee is an independent, nonpartisan, citizen-led organization working to improve education in Kentucky \u2013 early childhood through postsecondary \u2013 so that we will achieve a better quality of life for all residents.<\/p>\n
