Dr. Jay Parrent, of Princeton, has been selected to be a member of the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence. Parrent is Vice President of Administration at Madisonville Community College and has been an educator for many years. Dr. Parrent previously served on the Kentucky Board of Education, is a former member of the Princeton Water Commission and has been an active contributor to economic development initiatives in surrounding communities.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n

The Prichard Committee is an independent, nonpartisan, citizen-led organization working to improve education in Kentucky \u2013 early childhood through postsecondary \u2013 so that we will achieve a better quality of life for all residents.<\/u><\/u><\/p>\n
