We prioritize efforts to elevate the teaching profession as the key to student learning. We demand excellence through meaningful standards, strong accountability, effective teaching, and adequate and equitable funding from early childhood through postsecondary. We are committed to engaging Kentuckians on education issues – inspiring and equipping them to act to improve education outcomes at the state and local levels.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text animation=”slideInLeft” animation_delay=”.3″]To better meet these goals, the Prichard Committee is looking to create a state-wide cohort of ten teacher leaders to convene virtually from late June 2021 to early June 2022 to identify teaching and learning priorities for the 2021-22 academic calendar year, publish a second Letter from Kentucky Teachers, and collaborate on projects that spark their passion and fill a need for Kentucky students.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text animation=”slideInLeft” animation_delay=”.3″]
